Willenhall grew around the lock-making trade, and its terraces and 20th century estates have gardens that are mostly small to medium. A tree that has outgrown that space can cause real trouble, so we offer careful, practical felling for trees that are dead, leaning, diseased or just too much. That is where we come in.
Nothing about our approach is complicated. We look at the tree, talk through the options with you, then carry out the work cleanly and clear the debris. If a tree is better pruned than felled, we will say so. You will get a straight answer.

On a Willenhall estate, trees are often within a few metres of the house, the neighbour's fence or a driveway. Terraced plots are tighter still. In both cases, the tree has to be taken down in sections, because there is simply not room to fell it in one go. Climbing, rigging and lowering give us control over every piece that comes off. We plan each cut before it is made.
Some trees have been left to grow for a long time, especially at the end of a garden where they are rarely noticed. Ivy, dead limbs and a heavy lean can all be hidden by foliage. If you are not sure what you have got, we can check it and tell you whether it is safe to leave. Asking for an honest opinion is always worthwhile.

Good access makes a felling job quicker and tidier. Look at how we would get from the road to the tree: a side gate, a shared alley, steps or a passage through the house. Tell us about anything narrow or awkward, and let us know where we can park near your Willenhall property, since our equipment and the chipped waste need space. A short chat beforehand usually settles these points.
If parking is limited, a quick word with neighbours can help. Where possible we try to keep the road clear and the work short, and we protect hard surfaces from dropped logs. We also ask you to move vehicles and garden furniture before we arrive, and to keep children and pets indoors while the tree is coming down. These small steps keep everyone safe and the job moving.
After felling, we can cut the trunk into logs, which suit a wood burner once they have dried, or take everything away. Stumps can be left low or ground out by arrangement. We also work around Walsall, Bilston and Short Heath, so if a Willenhall neighbour is thinking of removing a tree as well, tell them about us. Just ask when you get in touch.
Based in Hall Green, so we are never far from the gardens we work in.
We look at the job before we price it, so you know what is involved.
Branches, clippings and rubbish from our jobs are cleared and the garden left tidy.

That is not unusual with terraces. We carry timber and green waste through carefully, using covers where needed. Cutting the tree into smaller sections helps, and we will explain how it works when we assess the job. Either way, the garden is left tidy.
Not always, as many trees lean from their early growth. A sudden change in lean, soil lifting around the base or cracks in the trunk are warning signs. If in doubt, ask us to look at it and advise. Never climb or prune one yourself.
It helps if someone is there at the start to agree the details, and to let us in if the access is through the house. After that we can usually get on with the work, though we will tell you what we find.
Tell us what needs doing and where. We will get back to you to arrange a visit and a free, no-obligation quote. Photos sent on WhatsApp help.
