A tree that suited a Tipton garden when it was planted can end up shading the house, dropping branches on a shed or pushing roots under a path. We take down garden trees of all sizes, including those that are dead, diseased, leaning or simply no longer wanted, and we leave the plot clear afterwards.
Much of Tipton is built up with terraced streets and inter-war estates, where gardens are small to medium and neighbours are close. That makes the method important, so we always explain how we would remove the tree before any work is agreed.

Most felling jobs in Tipton are not about enormous trees, they are about the wrong tree in a small space. A sycamore self-seeded by the fence, a leylandii hedge that has run away or an old fruit tree that has failed can all cause problems, yet each stands near a wall, a greenhouse or a neighbour's plot. We dismantle these in small, controlled pieces, one at a time.
Because space is limited, we think about where each section will go before the first cut. Rope work lets us lower timber to a clear spot rather than let it drop, and we protect paving, lawns and fences as far as we can. Talk to your neighbours before the day, as they may need to move cars, bins or washing lines out of the way.

In an area of older terraces and inter-war housing, the real concern with a large tree is often what it is doing out of sight. Roots can lift paths, press on boundary walls and search for moisture in old drains. If you are seeing cracks or movement, we can look at the tree and tell you honestly whether it is likely to be part of the cause.
Felling is not always the answer, and a surveyor or drainage specialist may need to be involved if there is damage to the building. What we can do is remove the tree safely and leave the ground ready for repair or replanting. Near the canal corridors around Tipton, we also check the access in advance to make sure our equipment can get in without trouble.
After the tree is down we cut it into logs if you want them, otherwise we take the timber and green waste away. The stump can be cut low or ground out by arrangement if you want to lay turf or a patio. We also cover Dudley, Coseley and Great Bridge, so a Tipton neighbour can be dealt with on the same visit.
Based in Hall Green, so we are never far from the gardens we work in.
We look at the job before we price it, so you know what is involved.
Branches, clippings and rubbish from our jobs are cleared and the garden left tidy.
Call, or send photos on WhatsApp, and we will come back to you.

Yes, large leylandii are a regular job for us. We take them down in sections, from the top, and clear all the brushwood. The stumps can be cut low or ground out if you plan to replace the hedge or open up the garden.
Roots can affect paths, walls and old drains, and sometimes foundations, but it depends on the tree, the soil and the building. We can give an honest view of the tree itself. If you think there is damage, speak to a surveyor as well.
There will be some noise from chainsaws and a chipper for part of the job, and we may need a little room at the front. We keep the work as tidy and quick as is safe, and suggest you let neighbours know in advance.
Tell us what needs doing and where. We will get back to you to arrange a visit and a free, no-obligation quote. Photos sent on WhatsApp help.
