Cradley Heath is a Black Country town built on hills, and many of its gardens climb or drop steeply behind the houses. Trees there can be difficult to reach and awkward to bring down. We offer tree surgery in Cradley Heath that deals with the slope, the neighbours and the narrow access as part of the plan.
Our work covers reductions, thinning, deadwood removal and full dismantling. After a visit, we tell you what we would do and why, so you can decide whether you want a tree shaped, made safer, or taken away altogether.

Hillside terraces and later estates around Cradley Heath often have small, sloping gardens with trees growing close to walls and fences. A single sycamore or ash can overhang several properties, blocking light and dropping debris into neighbouring gutters. Because the ground is uneven, simply dragging branches out or setting up a ladder can be unsafe. That makes pruning here more than a matter of simply cutting what you can see.
We climb the tree and work from within it, cutting in small sections and lowering each one with ropes. That avoids heavy pieces landing on slopes, patios or the garden below, and it lets us work with very little space around the base of the trunk. Where the trunk is wide, it is cut in a way that keeps the weight controlled and the fall predictable at every stage.

Parts of Cradley Heath are lined with canal-side greenery and fast-growing self-seeded trees. Left alone, they thicken, lean and shade rear gardens, and branches may reach towards roofs or cables. A selective thinning and reduction can restore light and reduce risk while keeping some of the greenery you value. It also gives gardens a little breathing space between the canopy and the house.
If a tree is dead, hollow or leaning badly after wind, removal is more sensible. We dismantle it in stages and chip the smaller material on site. If a dangerous limb has been left hanging after a storm, mention that when you call so we can treat it as an emergency. Once the main structure is down, the stump is left cut low and the ground is raked over.
Before starting any job in Cradley Heath we ask whether a Tree Preservation Order or conservation area applies. We look for nesting birds, power lines and the right place for the vehicle, and we also work in Old Hill and Halesowen. When finished, all the timber and green waste goes with us and the garden is left tidy.
Based in Hall Green, so we are never far from the gardens we work in.
We look at the job before we price it, so you know what is involved.
Branches, clippings and rubbish from our jobs are cleared and the garden left tidy.

Yes, though we take extra care. The tree is dismantled from the top in small pieces so nothing falls against the wall or fence. We also look at how far the roots may have spread, and advise you if the wall already shows any movement.
Usually, yes. Climbing means we do not need machinery in the garden. Tools and timber are carried along the path by hand, and the chipper can often stay at the front. We check access during the visit so there are no surprises on the day.
Small ones can often be removed outright, while larger trees need more thought. If the land is not yours, we may need permission from the owner. We look at what is growing, tell you what falls within your boundary, and advise accordingly.
Tell us what needs doing and where. We will get back to you to arrange a visit and a free, no-obligation quote. Photos sent on WhatsApp help.
