Willenhall's terraces and 20th century estates often squeeze a garage, a shed and a fence line into a small or medium garden, and a tree frequently grows right above them. That makes the work more delicate than it looks. We do tree surgery in Willenhall, including reductions, branch removal and sectional dismantling where the tree has little room around it.
Tell us which building or boundary the tree is crowding, and we will plan the work around it. We explain each step before we start, so there are no surprises for you or for the people next door.

A branch resting on a garage roof can wear the felt, block the gutter and drop leaves into every gap. Over time, heavy limbs may also crack tiles or push on the structure. In Willenhall, where garages are often close to the boundary, one tree can threaten two properties at once, and the problem tends to get worse each season. That is worth dealing with before the winter weather arrives.
Often the answer is to cut back only the limbs over the roof and lift the crown a little. Where the trunk itself is too close, or the tree is in poor condition, removal may be wiser. We will show you what we mean on site, so the decision is easy to follow and easy to make. Nothing is cut until you are happy with the plan.

The skill lies in the lowering. Each branch is cut in short lengths and eased down by rope, so it never swings into a fence panel, a greenhouse or a washing line. Where there is no space beneath, pieces are passed hand to hand or carried along the side of the house, and we lay protective boards where the ground is soft or the paving is delicate.
This slower method suits Willenhall's close-set streets, where neighbours' gardens are only a few metres away. It also keeps the noise and mess down. Wood is chipped or cut and loaded, and we leave the area swept so you can use the garage again straight away without any clearing of your own. We would rather take a little longer than cause a repair bill for you or the neighbours.
Before we cut in Willenhall we ask the council whether the tree has a Tree Preservation Order or lies in a conservation area. We also check for nesting birds and overhead cables, and where the tree leans toward next door we make sure the neighbour knows. All timber and green waste is taken away. We also cover Short Heath, Bilston and Walsall.
Based in Hall Green, so we are never far from the gardens we work in.
We look at the job before we price it, so you know what is involved.

Yes. We remove the overhanging limbs in small sections and lower them, so the roof is not struck. We also clear leaves and debris from the area where practical. If the tree is protected, we check the position with the council before cutting.
Sometimes, but not always. If the trunk is close, the tree is unhealthy or it keeps causing damage, removal may be sensible. If it is sound, careful pruning can keep it and the building safe. We will give our honest view on site.
Speak to your neighbour before work starts, as they may want to be involved. We can work from your side and take the branches over their boundary too, if they agree. We keep their garden protected and tidy as we go.
