Wednesbury is an old iron and steel town, and its terraces and 20th century estates have small to medium gardens where one big tree can dominate the whole plot. If yours has grown too large, died or become unsafe, we can fell it and leave the garden clear and workable again.
Our approach is simple. We look at the tree, tell you plainly what we would do, and then carry it out with as little disruption as possible to you and to the neighbours on either side. You will know in advance how the work will go and what the garden will look like afterwards.

When a tree fills a Wednesbury garden, the usual complaints are lost light, dropping leaves and a worry about branches over a house or neighbouring fence. You may also find that nothing else will grow beneath it. If pruning has already been tried and the tree is still too large for the plot, removing it entirely may well be the practical answer. Neighbours often feel the same way.
Small gardens leave little space for mistakes, so we take trees down in short sections and lower them under control. That lets us work close to fences, outhouses and neighbouring plots. If our vehicle needs to park close by, we will tell you beforehand. Please let us know about any shared passages, narrow gates or steps, as they affect how we carry timber out. A little notice makes the day run well.

Parts of Wednesbury sit beside canals and green corridors, and trees there often support birds and other wildlife. Birds nest in spring and summer, and it is an offence to disturb an active nest, so we check for nests before cutting. Sometimes that means waiting until the nesting season is over, and we will explain clearly if the timing matters. Wildlife is part of the picture in this area.
This is also a reason to be sure that felling is needed. If the tree is healthy and merely overgrown, a reduction might do. If it is dying, dangerous or damaging property, taking it down is sensible. Either way we give you an honest recommendation, and you can ask the council if you are unsure about protection or consent for the work. Planning ahead rarely goes wrong.
At the end of the job we cut the trunk into logs if you want to keep them, and take the branches and green waste away. We can leave the stump low or arrange to have it ground out. We also cover West Bromwich, Tipton and Darlaston, so a Wednesbury job and one nearby can sometimes be neatly arranged together.
Based in Hall Green, so we are never far from the gardens we work in.
We look at the job before we price it, so you know what is involved.
Branches, clippings and rubbish from our jobs are cleared and the garden left tidy.
Call, or send photos on WhatsApp, and we will come back to you.

It depends on whether there is an active nest. Wild birds and their nests are protected, so we check carefully first. If a nest is present and the tree is not dangerous, the work may need to wait until the young have left.
If the tree is healthy, a crown reduction may solve the problem and keep the tree. If it is dead, diseased or badly placed, felling usually makes more sense. We look at the tree before advising and will tell you honestly which suits your garden.
We can, but access and safety need extra thought, and the landowner or canal operator may need to be informed. Tell us exactly where the tree stands and we will talk through how to do it without risk to passers-by.
Tell us what needs doing and where. We will get back to you to arrange a visit and a free, no-obligation quote. Photos sent on WhatsApp help.
