Wednesbury grew up around iron and steel, and its terraces and later estates now hold plenty of garden trees that have outgrown their spot. Low branches reach across pavements, lean on fences and hang in front of windows. Crown lifting in Wednesbury removes the lowest limbs so that people can pass underneath, and daylight can reach the house again.
The job is modest by design. We leave the upper crown alone, make clean cuts and do not take more than the tree can spare. Most lifts are a matter of a few well-chosen branches, and the difference to a small garden is easy to see once they are gone.

Where a Wednesbury garden meets the street, low branches soon become a nuisance. They catch on pushchairs and bin lorries, drip onto parked cars and sometimes hide a driveway exit from passing traffic. We lift the canopy over the pavement to give comfortable headroom, and we keep the work inside your boundary. If a branch belongs to a neighbour's tree, we tell you rather than guess.
The same idea applies at the back. A lifted canopy lets you see along the length of the fence, removes the dark corner beside the shed and gives a lawn a chance to recover from long-term shade. We look at the shape of the tree from several angles before choosing which limbs to take, so the result looks natural. Where a branch is thick, we cut it in stages so it never tears the bark.

There are canal and green corridors running through and around Wednesbury, and gardens beside them often have taller, self-seeded trees such as sycamore, ash and willow. These grow quickly, and their low branches can reach out over paths, boundary walls and neighbouring land. A lift keeps them under control without removing the greenery that wildlife and neighbours enjoy. That keeps the garden green but usable.
On the estates, trees were often planted along the front garden as a feature, and they now overshadow the house. We lift these to open up the windows, then step back and check that the tree is still balanced. If a branch is damaged, split or dead, we say so and remove it while we are there, with your agreement. Any dead or split branch we see is pointed out to you first.
We look at the tree, agree what will come off and check for protected trees or conservation areas around Wednesbury before cutting. The branches are lowered, chipped where suitable and taken away, and the ground is swept. We also cover West Bromwich, Tipton and Darlaston, so we can look at other trees in those areas on the same trip.

Yes, if the tree is yours. We raise the canopy to give comfortable headroom for people and pushchairs, keeping all work and waste on your side of the line. If the tree is a neighbour's, we will say so.
It only deals with the low branches. If the whole tree is too wide or too tall for the garden, a reduction may suit better. We will explain which job fits your tree before we start, so you do not pay for the wrong one.
No, once a branch is removed it does not regrow at the same point. The tree may put out some small shoots near the cuts, which can be tidied later. That is why we plan the lift carefully, so we only remove what is needed.
