Redditch grew as a planned town, with estates, open green spaces and tree-lined roads, and plenty of its gardens are a good size with mature planting. A patio is a very good way to make that space work. We build new patios, paths and paved areas across B97 and B98, for family homes of every age.
Some customers want a simple seating area off the back door. Others are planning a bigger terrace with a path leading to the lawn and shed. We listen first, mark out the options and agree a clear plan before we dig.

Estate gardens here are often reasonably level and open, which suits a generous patio. That gives you room for a table, chairs, a barbecue and perhaps a few planters, without everything feeling crowded. We look at where the sun falls through the day and place the patio where you will enjoy it most, whether that is morning coffee or evening meals. Just tell us what matters.
Because many houses on the same estate share a design, the garden is often a blank canvas. A change of paving pattern, a curved edge or a path that sweeps across the lawn can make yours look different from next door. We will suggest ideas and show samples, so you can decide with confidence. Nothing is chosen until you are happy. Your own taste matters most here.

A patio in Redditch gets the same careful preparation whatever the house. We excavate to the right depth, remove soft spots, compact a sub-base in layers and bed the paving on top with a slight fall for drainage. That sequence is what keeps the surface level through frosts, heavy rain and everyday use. Rushing it never pays. It is the stage customers never see but always benefit from.
Edges and joints are finished with equal care. We cut cleanly around drains, steps and borders, point the joints firmly and check the levels again before we leave. Old paving and spoil are cleared away, so you are left with a tidy new area and a garden that is ready for furniture. It is a proper finish, not a rough one. Please check the result with us before we go.
Many Redditch gardens back onto hedges, planted trees or green space, which looks lovely but brings leaves and shade onto paving. We choose finishes that cope with damp and can trim back overgrown growth before we start. We also work in Bromsgrove, Alvechurch, Studley and Astwood Bank, so let us know if you are close by. We will talk it through with you.
Based in Hall Green, so we are never far from the gardens we work in.

Large enough for the furniture you want plus room to move around it. For many families that means more than they first imagine. We mark out the outline on the lawn so you can walk it before deciding.
Yes, if the base is right. Clay holds water, so we dig deeper where needed, compact a solid sub-base and lay the paving with a fall. Done that way, it stays level and drains well. We will point out anything unusual underfoot.
Certainly. A path is usually laid in the same paving, or a complementary one, and built on a similar firm base. It keeps feet dry, protects the lawn and makes the whole garden easier to use. Just tell us the route you would like.
