Worcester is a cathedral city on the River Severn, with period houses, large suburban gardens, river meadows and plenty of mature trees and willows. Those features reward good landscaping. We work across Worcester, handling clearance, levels, patios, paths, lawns, fencing, borders, walls and steps, all planned together as one finished garden.
Small jobs are welcome as well as full makeovers. At the end of every project we take the waste away and leave the garden clean, so you can start enjoying it. Tell us what you want, and we will shape it to the plot.

Suburban Worcester has generous gardens, and generous gardens can easily feel unstructured. We bring order by splitting the space into areas: a patio near the house, a lawn, a productive corner, a shaded seat, linked with a few well laid paths. Borders give edges and height, so the garden has shape through every season. Clear structure is what lifts a large garden above a big lawn.
A big plot also gives us room for gentle changes in level, which add interest and help with drainage. We think about the sun, the views and how you reach each part of the garden. A good plan makes a large garden easier to look after, not harder, and it keeps the planting in proportion. Done well, it looks settled almost from the start.

Gardens close to the Severn and its meadows in Worcester can be damp, and willows and other big trees add shade and root activity. Drainage comes first. We check where water sits, set falls away from the house and use free-draining bases and raised beds where they make sense. Wet ground is not a reason to give up on a good garden. A little care at the start keeps it usable all year.
We cannot promise anything about the river itself, but we can build a Worcester garden that copes well with ordinary wet weather. Planting is chosen to enjoy moisture and shade, and surfaces are laid so they drain and dry out quickly rather than turning green and slippery. We explain the options plainly. Where trees stand close to the house, we can also look at lifting or thinning the canopy to let in more light and air.
Older Worcester houses deserve a garden with the right character, from brick paths to traditional boundaries. Some areas are conservation areas, where work on trees and boundaries may need permission, so it is wise to check with the council first. We also cover Claines and Powick, and we always remove all the waste when we finish. Worcester gardens repay careful work.
Based in Hall Green, so we are never far from the gardens we work in.
We look at the job before we price it, so you know what is involved.
Branches, clippings and rubbish from our jobs are cleared and the garden left tidy.

Yes. We start with drainage, correcting levels and using free-draining bases, raised beds or suitable planting, so the garden is comfortable to use for most of the year, though we cannot make promises about river flooding. Drainage is the key.
Garden landscaping often does not, but work on trees and some boundaries can. Check with Worcester City Council before you commit, and we can plan the design around what is allowed. Early checking avoids delays. We would rather know the rules at the start.
We split it into zones with different uses, link them with paths and borders, and can build it in stages. That keeps the scheme coherent while spreading the work over a sensible period. Large gardens are easiest to build in order.
