Birmingham is a city of very different gardens: small courtyard backs behind Victorian terraces, long plots in inter-war suburbs and wide lawns in leafy roads with big trees. Each needs a different approach. We landscape across the city from our base in Hall Green, and we plan every job around the space, the access and the way you want to use it.
The work can be a single patio or a whole-garden rebuild. Either way, we agree the plan first, do the work in a sensible order and take the rubbish away, leaving you with a garden that is tidy, usable and straightforward to look after.

A terrace in the inner suburbs might have a compact yard that needs good drainage, a neat surface and some planting in pots or narrow beds. A semi further out may have room for a lawn, a patio and a bed along the fence. In Birmingham the starting point is always the plot itself, not a standard design. Even a narrow yard can feel considered when the surface, edging and planting are chosen together.
We measure up, check levels and note where light and shade fall during the day. Small gardens reward careful use of every square metre, with steps, raised beds and clean lines, while larger ones need zones that connect smoothly. We explain the choices as we go so you can decide what matters most. We keep you informed at each stage, so there are no surprises when the work starts.

Access is often the deciding factor on a Birmingham job. Terraces may have no side route, so materials come through the house, and we protect floors and keep the route clear. Street and garden trees are a feature of the city, and we take care around roots when digging foundations for paths, walls and patios. We also tell you in advance how materials will arrive and where spoil will be stored.
Some parts of Birmingham sit inside conservation areas, where trees can carry extra protection. If a landscaping job involves a tree, we will say so and talk through what is sensible before anything is touched. Park-side and leafy roads, such as those around Cannon Hill and Highbury, often have exactly this kind of mature planting. Where trees are involved, we keep digging clear of the root zone wherever the layout allows.
A good Birmingham garden should suit your routine, whether that means space for children, a quiet seat or a low-effort lawn and borders. We keep the plan flexible and the finish tidy. We also work in Edgbaston, Harborne, Moseley and Kings Heath, so if you are nearby, we can usually arrange a visit to look at the space with you.

From our base in Hall Green we work across Birmingham, the Black Country, Solihull and parts of Worcestershire. Choose your area.
Yes. Small yards are a regular part of our work. We focus on drainage, a durable surface and neat planting, and we bring materials through the house if there is no side access, taking care to protect floors and walls along the way.
Landscaping itself is usually fine, but trees can carry extra protection in conservation areas. If your plan involves a tree, we will tell you what to check first, so nothing is cut or removed before it should be.
Yes. Waste removal is part of the job. Old paving, turf, soil and cuttings are loaded and taken away, so you are left with a clean finished garden rather than piles to deal with yourself afterwards. We leave the ground raked and level.
